Community On One Level It's All About Me Initiative is a “workforce ready” training program where graduates will earn “TWO” nationally recognized certification credentials. Our program curriculum provides intense classroom instruction combined with daily quizzes, workbook applications and hands-on practice with equipment used by today’s industry professionals. Upon completion, graduates will be able to utilize high-tech telecommunications and media equipment to work in any environment.

 

The Mission

The Mission of the It’s All About ME program is to provide students with real-world vocational training through an integrated program with practical skills and hands-on experience as its guiding principle and focus. What our students learn in class today, they can apply in the job setting tomorrow.

This opportunity includes providing broad access to individuals who seek the opportunity to become certified in high demand occupations in today’s challenging workforce. COOL draws from over 40 years of experience managing, training and providing infrastructure solutions in technical and non-technical industries throughout the United States.

Our governing body have been instrumental in training over 15,000 personnel who currently work throughout the country.

 

Certified Premise Cabling Technicians Credential

COOL offers a 40-contact hour Broadband Premise Technician course certified by the Fiber Optics Association (FOA). The course is comprised of 40-hours of classroom instruction with a minimum of 40% hands-on practice. The Broadband Premise Technician course’s objective is to provide students with the basic skills necessary to be successful within the telecommunications industry. This course will teach students a variety of topics ranging from the history of telecommunications, to CAT  and coax cabling termination and then the implementation of the learned curriculum in the field.

 

Certified Fiber Optic Technician Course

COOL offers a 40-hour Broadband Fiber Optic Technician course certified by the Fiber Optics Association (FOA). The course is comprised of 40-hours of classroom instruction with a minimum of 40% hands-on practice. The Broadband Fiber Optic Technician course’s objective is to provide students with the basic skills necessary to be successful within the telecommunications industry. This course will teach students a variety of topics ranging from an introduction to fiber optics, to cable prep, splicing and termination and the implementation of the learned curriculum in the field.
